The holiday

Here I am again,..........been away for a week holiday down south.

A few month ago I bought a $2 fundraising ticket for building a new church,.........and I won first prize, 1 week holiday for 6 persons in a Busselton Beach Resort. This is the first time in my life I win first prize,..........hehe, so I was quite excited.

We went there with our son & family last Friday,the weather was really bad on that day, thunderstorm and very windy, but the rest of the week was quite ok. We had great fun with the 2 GKs, but they only stayed for the weekend, cause dad has to work and Tania back to school.

Here are some more layouts with my GKs photos taken on last Mother's Day picnic. I thought these photos of my GKs wouldn't match with the dark and abstract kit of Deanne, but it match perfectly,.......... it gives an abstract garden background or frame for the photos, a great effect for the photos to be the focus.
Deanne has a few new kits, "DGO-Wild-Art" is one of them. Its available in her SBM store

The lake is in Piney Lake Garden and the verse is taken from the song "Come to the waters", base from the scripture; Yes. 55:1

Summer

These are Toby's new pictures, he is 18 months old now, wooooow... time flies, he is a cute & happy little boy.
For the layouts I used Knusz aka Diana Carmichael "Certainly Summer Kit". The kit is a gift from her, for my participation on The Groove April Challenge, runned by her, thanks Diana !. We can pick one of her kit and I picked 'certainly summer', and I told her that we heading towards summer,....??
Oooh, I have been day dreaming,....of course we're heading towards winter, not summer,.........is this a sign of getting old ?? But anyway, here is a summer layout.

Moonbeam aka Deanne Gow-Smith has a few new kits in her STORE, she has awesome kits and templates there, I picked this challenging, beautiful burgundy and green, dark colors to try it out. The name of the kit is "DGO-Jungle-Juice-Kit". Its quite fun to use this kit and I was quite happy with the 2 layouts I'd done, it just gave a nice background of our DIL bridal photos and the wedding cake.

Remembering my Mom

This is my mother when she was still young, I think the picture was taken when my parents just got married in 1937. I'm very grateful to have a mom like her.

Mother's Day Kit

Oooh, ooh, what have I done, haven't update my blog for quiet a while.

There had been lots happenings since, been busy during Easter-time for the Church, then came 'mr flu & cough', that made me for not working too hard and going to bed early.

Playing with GKs, just make me so occupied. Tania love watching me on the computer and doing her own scrapbooking, well she is a quick learner I can say,.....hahaha !!
